Mike McCarthy kicked off his tenure as the Pittsburgh Steelers head coach with a hard-fought 20-13 victory against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1. Following the sluggish opening performance, quarterback Aaron Rodgers presented McCarthy with the ceremonial game ball to commemorate his debut win with the franchise.

McCarthy acknowledged that the team's offense, which had difficulty closing out the contest, still has clear issues to address.
