MMBets: Orlando stood still while the rest of the East got better

Despite winning forty-five matches last season and securing a postseason lead over Detroit prior to elimination, the Orlando Magic opted for roster continuity rather than major changes during the offseason. The franchise brought in Nikola Vucevic, Izaiyah Nelson, and new head coach Sean Sweeney, while parting ways with Moritz Wagner and Jett Howard.

Analysts question whether returning largely the same group will suffice given that rival Eastern Conference organizations aggressively upgraded their talent. Facing a win total projection of 43.5, the club must overcome lingering offensive creation questions and a tough division against strengthened opponents like Miami and Atlanta.
