MLB postseason turns to wild card Games 2 on Wednesday

Four elimination games highlight Wednesday's slate as the second day of the 2026 postseason unfolds across the league. In the opening action, the Atlanta Braves look to clinch their series against the Philadelphia Phillies after securing a game one victory via a late home run from Austin Riley.

Pitchers Tyler Mahle and Cristopher Sánchez are slated to start that contest, while pitching matchups for the remaining three series feature Sean Burke against Hunter Brown, Sonny Gray facing Max Fried, and Kevin Gausman opposing Nick Pivetta.
