Minkah Fitzpatrick’s injury status could leave Jets with secondary questions to hash out

New York Jets defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick suffered a groin injury during the opening quarter of Sunday's Week 1 victory against the Tennessee Titans. The 29-year-old safety was spotted clutching his leg during Tennessee's first drive of the contest, though he managed to walk toward the sideline without assistance.

Team officials initially designated him as questionable to return before demoting his playing status to doubtful early in the third period and ultimately ruling him out moments later.
