Arsenal secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Liverpool, ending a 14-year winless drought at the stadium. Kai Havertz provided the decisive goal early in the match, while Declan Rice contributed a key assist during a tactical counter-attacking sequence.
Despite facing significant pressure, manager Mikel Arteta defended his side's offensive performance, claiming they created several high-quality scoring opportunities throughout the contest. This result moves the Gunners to the top of the Premier League standings.
Arteta praised his team's resilience and hunger, noting that the victory was particularly meaningful given the historical difficulty of playing at this venue.
