Michigan Coach Accepts Blame After Kyle Whittingham Issues Blunt Statement on Iowa Loss

Michigan holds a three-to-one record following a narrow twenty to nineteen defeat against Iowa on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Offensive line coach Jim Harding has taken full responsibility for the unit's struggles, addressing issues with penalties, pass protection, and run game gaps compounded by injuries to players such as Ace Hamilton, Andrew Sprague, and Andrew Babalola.

Meanwhile, head coach Kyle Whittingham and running back Jordan Marshall both expressed that the squad's performance has felt closer to four and zero despite the early season setbacks.
