Miami running back Mark Fletcher Jr. rubbed salt in the wounds of Clemson supporters during the closing minutes of a dominant road victory.
After finding the end zone in the final period, the star rusher offered a wave to the home crowd as the fourth-ranked Hurricanes cruised to a 41-13 triumph on Saturday night. Fletcher finished the contest with 77 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns on 16 carries.
Quarterback Darian Mensah also contributed heavily to the offensive output, passing for 227 yards and a score while adding another touchdown on the ground. Cooper Barkate paced the receiving unit with 98 yards and a touchdown on five receptions.
With the dominant result secured, the Hurricanes will enjoy a bye week before returning to action on the road against the Florida State Seminoles in an in-state rivalry matchup.
