Max Verstappen rues Red Bull "disaster": 'Maybe we should use sign language'

Max Verstappen secured a third-place finish at the United States Grand Prix behind Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Charles Leclerc, yet voiced major frustration regarding persistent team radio malfunctions throughout the 2026 season. The reigning world champion joked that Red Bull should adopt sign language to reduce communication errors with the pit wall after suffering ongoing technical failures for the second consecutive event.

Tom Hart filled in as Verstappen's race engineer in Austin while regular engineer Gianpiero Lambiase prepares for a move to McLaren. Meanwhile, teammate Isack Hadjar also encountered poor radio connectivity during the weekend, adding to a series of operational hurdles that included another subpar start for Verstappen.
