Matt Rhule Praises Washington Football, Jedd Fisch Before Matchup

Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule is preparing his team for a blackout game against Washington, emphasizing that the atmosphere alone should provide sufficient motivation for his players. The Cornhuskers are looking to bounce back following a recent loss to Oregon, while Washington coach Jedd Fisch aims to secure a second consecutive road victory in conference play.

The matchup follows Washington's previous experience in a high-profile road environment at Penn State, where backup quarterback Demond Williams Jr. saw action in relief of Will Rogers.

Nebraska previously hosted a blackout game against USC last November, a contest that ended in a 21-17 defeat despite the team's promotional efforts and the impact on recruiting.
