Angel Reese has dominated the 2026 WNBA Finals, leading the Atlanta Dream to the top seed in the East. After winning the Defensive Player of the Year award over Gabby Williams and A’ja Wilson, Reese averaged 16.4 points and 12.1 rebounds per game during the regular season.
Her playoff performance has been even more impressive, as she is shooting 47.1 percent from three-point range and averaging 19.4 points per game, helping the Dream go undefeated through the first two rounds.
Following a 14-point effort in a 68-64 Game 1 loss to the Golden State Valkyries, Reese bounced back in Game 2 with 30 points and 16 rebounds. She then secured a 21-point double-double in Atlanta to help her team win the championship series.
Matt Barnes believes Reese is the clear choice for Finals MVP if the Dream take the title.
