
During the recent British Masters Championships held in Derby, athletes Fiona Matheson and Carole Filer both established new world records on the track. Matheson secured the W65 3000m top mark with a time of 11:19.24, while Filer claimed the W70 80m hurdles record at 15.58.
Additional continental bests were achieved by Tony Bowman in the M90 200m hurdles and Iris Holder in the W85 triple jump. Further national records across various age brackets fell to competitors including Peter Giles, Diane Brian, and Murugesu Siva Sithamparam.
