
The Arizona Cardinals have secured a strong return in trading Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans, landing multiple future draft picks in the process.
The deal sent the 24-year-old wide receiver—son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison—and a 2027 seventh-round selection to Houston in exchange for a 2027 second-round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick. Harrison Jr.
becomes only the second wide receiver in NFL history to be traded within his first three seasons after being selected in the top five of the draft, following Ahmad Rashad’s 1974 move from the Cardinals to the Buffalo Bills. The trade underscores Arizona’s ability to extract high-value assets from a struggling Texans roster, which currently ranks near the bottom of the league in rushing production despite quarterback C.J.
Stroud’s strong statistical performance through four games.
