Stepping in for the injured Jayden Daniels, quarterback Marcus Mariota guided the Washington Commanders to a 33-31 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Mariota completed 19 of 31 passes for 183 yards and threw three touchdowns, helping build an early lead.

Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold countered by throwing for 379 yards and four touchdowns, but a costly late interception returned for a score by Kain Medrano ultimately helped seal the outcome for Washington.
