Maldini driving license suspended after car crash

Cagliari attacking midfielder Daniel Maldini has seen his driving privileges revoked following a motor vehicle collision during the early hours of Sunday in Milan. The 24-year-old was driving a Porsche Carrera 4 that struck another automobile, leaving six individuals with minor harm.

The incident took place merely hours after Maldini netted the decisive strike to seal Cagliari's 2-1 Serie A triumph over Atalanta, the side that currently holds his registration. Representing the third era of his household to don the Azzurri jersey following father Paolo and grandfather Cesare, he earned his maiden senior cap versus Israel during the 2024 Nations League campaign.
