New England pass-catcher Mack Hollins recently faced a heavy financial penalty from league headquarters totaling $34,441 following multiple infractions during a matchup against Jacksonville. The discipline stemmed from a fourth-quarter sequence where officials whistled the wideout for taunting safety Eric Murray after converting a third-down reception, resulting in an $11,941 assessment.
In addition to that penalty, the office penalized him $22,500 for unnecessary roughness regarding helmet contact on the same sequence, despite no on-field flag for that specific action. Hollins finished that contest as his club's leading receiver with six grabs for 87 yards.
This incident adds to a growing history of similar disciplinary actions for the wide receiver. League officials previously hit him with two separate fines following a January 2025 contest against Denver.
On that occasion, he lost $11,255 for stepping over cornerback Patrick Surtain and an additional $6,736 for standing above receiver Marvin Mims in the aftermath of a punt.
