M.A. Chidambaram Stadium stands to be named after Venkataraghavan, Srikkanth and Ashwin

During its latest annual general meeting, the local cricket board resolved to honor three legendary local figures by dedicating stadium blocks in their honor. S. Venkataraghavan, K. Srikkanth, and R. Ashwin will each have a section of the ground named after them.

The official unveiling ceremony is slated to precede the upcoming opening match between the Perth Scorchers and the Melbourne Renegades on the twelfth of December.
