Lynx news: Kayla McBride gives props to Minnesota Big 3 after sweep by Liberty

Minnesota concluded its postseason campaign with a tough defeat after the New York Liberty secured a decisive 87-71 victory in Brooklyn to complete a playoff sweep. Following the elimination, guard Kayla McBride became emotional while discussing the close bond she shares with her fellow foundational teammates Napheesa Collier and Courtney Williams.

While McBride and Williams remain under contract for the upcoming season alongside backcourt teammate Olivia Miles, Collier faces unrestricted free agency this offseason following a challenging return from ankle surgery. McBride emphasized the strong culture and deep personal connections the trio has built over their years together in Minnesota regardless of what the future holds.
