Luka Garza aiming to improve defense

Boston big man Luka Garza spent his summer working extensively on his defensive footwork and positioning alongside coach Joe Mazzulla and assistant D.J. MacLeay.

Following a regular season where he averaged 8.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in limited minutes, Garza aims to cut down on foul trouble and enhance his defensive rebounding to secure a more reliable rotation spot behind players like Neemias Queta and Mitchell Robinson.
