Lincoln Riley defends state of USC football: 'We didn't get run out of the stadium' vs. Oregon

Following a forty-one to twenty-seven defeat against the Ducks, Southern California head coach Lincoln Riley faced mounting external pressure and skepticism regarding his tenure. Despite the loss being his twentieth against a ranked opponent during his tenure with the program, Riley defended his squad by pointing out positive moments from the tape and noting that his group was competitive throughout the contest.

Offensive lineman Elijah Paige and quarterback Jayden Maiava also expressed confidence in the coach and praised the internal culture and accountability as the team prepares to face Washington.
