Lightning teammates address Nikita Kucherov trade request: 'Tough day'

Nikita Kucherov recorded three assists in his first appearance since informing the Tampa Bay Lightning of his desire to be traded. Despite his performance, the Lightning fell to the Nashville Predators in a 5-4 shootout loss on October 31.

While the organization has publicly stated they have no plans to move their star scorer, teammates like Brayden Point and Victor Hedman acknowledged the difficulty of the situation while maintaining their focus on the current season. Coach Jon Cooper confirmed that Kucherov remains a committed member of the roster for the remainder of the year.
