Liberty will face red-hot squad Dream in WNBA semifinals

Following a historic opening round upset of the top seeded Minnesota squad, the eighth seeded New York group is preparing for a best of five semifinal matchup against Atlanta. The surging Dream secured their advancement by sweeping Washington with a 93 to 75 victory, marking their most significant postseason triumph since 2018.

New York enters this round under the guidance of first year coach Chris DeMarco after enduring an injury plagued regular season. Meanwhile, Atlanta finished the campaign strong by capturing thirteen of their final fifteen contests, though they dropped their regular season series two games to one against New York.
