Liberty vs. Lynx: Can New York make WNBA history in Game 2?

The New York Liberty secured a 91-75 victory over the Minnesota Lynx in the opening game of their playoff series, putting the eighth-seeded squad on the brink of an unprecedented postseason sweep against the top seed. Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones both emphasized that the squad cannot afford to relax, recalling a bitter playoff collapse at home against Phoenix last season.

Minnesota enters Game 2 facing elimination after dropping the first contest on their home floor. Anastasiia Olairi Kosu remains sidelined for the Lynx due to a right foot injury, while the Liberty report a fully healthy roster ahead of the upcoming matchup at Barclays Center.
