Liberty news: Jonquel Jones' final injury status for Game 1 vs. Lynx

The New York Liberty are receiving positive health updates ahead of their opening postseason matchup against the Minnesota Lynx. Head coach Chris DeMarco confirmed that Jonquel Jones will be active for the contest after she rolled her ankle during the regular season finale against the Atlanta Dream.

Breanna Stewart is also anticipated to take the court after missing the previous outing due to left knee soreness.

On the opposing side, the Minnesota Lynx are managing their own roster concerns as they prepare for the series. Olivia Miles has recovered from a calf strain that sidelined her for the final two games of the regular season and is cleared to play.

Both squads expect to have their star contributors available as the opening round gets underway.
