In the updated post-Week 1 rankings compiled by a panel of over a dozen analysts, the Bills secured the top spot after previously sitting third, while Seattle and Baltimore followed in second and third place after beating New England 13-10 and Indianapolis 41-23, respectively.

Alongside the team rankings, the review spotlighted standout non-quarterback additions across the league. Buffalo receiver DJ Moore headlined the top team's debut with a 100-yard outing featuring a 43-yard score, two drawn penalties, and a defensive play to prevent an interception.

Other highlighted contributors across the league included Houston running back David Montgomery following a three-touchdown performance, Minnesota rookie tackle Domonique Orange, safety Rodney Thomas II filling in during Seattle's defensive stand, and new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle leading Baltimore's attack.
