Latest ICC men's ODI team rankings: Updated table after South Africa beat Australia 2-1

South Africa secured a series triumph against Australia by taking two of the three matches played between the sides. Matthew Breetzke and Temba Bavuma both notched up hundreds for the winning side during the opening fixtures, while Keshav Maharaj claimed four wickets to restrict the opposition.

Australia managed to claim victory in the final contest via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method after weather forced a premature end to proceedings, with Alex Carey and Mitchell Marsh contributing fifties. Following these results, the updated standings place South Africa in third position globally with one hundred four rating points, while Australia sit directly behind them in fourth place.
