Lancashire Women have secured the services of rising all-rounder Riva Pindoria with a two-year contract, effective from November ahead of the 2027 season. The 20-year-old Barnet-born cricketer joins the club after a standout 2026 campaign with Middlesex, where she showcased her explosive batting with a 52* off 28 balls in the Vitality Blast and a composed 60 from 72 in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup.
Her versatility was further highlighted by her inclusion in the South Asian Cricket Academy’s inaugural women’s pilot programme, underlining her growing reputation in domestic cricket. Head coach Chris Read, who had previously worked with Pindoria during her Second XI appearances, praised her as a dynamic batter with the potential to elevate Lancashire’s squad over the coming years.
The signing marks a significant milestone for Pindoria, who expressed excitement about contributing to the team’s ambitions at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
