During the opening match of the multi-day series between the under-19 squads of India and Australia, opening batsman Lakshya Raichandani achieved a milestone by compiling his second double century in youth-level test matches. Reaching the double-ton mark from 247 deliveries, the young player's innings featured twenty boundaries and four maximums.
This performance marks his second double hundred within a three-month span, following a previous knock against Sri Lanka's youth team in July. With this achievement, Raichandani becomes the seventh Indian batsman to record a double century in youth tests and stands alone as the only player from the country to reach the landmark twice.
