Kyle Shanahan: We don't know nature of Mike Evans injury, will find out more Monday

Following a Sunday victory that brought their record to three wins and zero losses against the Cardinals, the 49ers are waiting on medical evaluations for wide receiver Mike Evans. Evans exited the thirty-six to thirty triumph on a cart due to a midsection issue and was officially ruled out.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan stated after the final whistle that medical staff could not immediately distinguish between a fractured rib and an oblique problem, prompting further examinations on Monday to establish a recovery timeline. Additional players who exited the contest included left tackle Trent Williams with a stinger and linebacker Dre Greenlaw due to a quad issue.
