The former Ole Miss standout added another quarterback takedown to his tally during a fifth-week victory over McNeese, continuing a strong start to the season.

Following the recent triumph, head coach Lane Kiffin credited the edge defender's dramatic improvement to heightened consistency in practice and improved focus compared to the previous year. Kiffin also praised defensive coordinator Blake Baker for successfully deploying the pass rusher in various alignments to confuse opposing offenses.
