Kerala has finalized its squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy campaign, with experienced batsman Vishnu Vinod retaining the captaincy for the tournament opener. The side will face Jharkhand in Jamshedpur from October 11 to 14, marking Vinod’s continued leadership after guiding Kerala in their final league match of last season and recent practice games against Jammu & Kashmir and Hyderabad.
The 18-player roster includes returning all-rounder Jalaj Saxena and batsman Aditya Sarvate, while off-spinner Vaishakh Chandran returns after a three-season absence. Debutants J.S.
Anuraj and left-arm medium pacer Pavan Raj have also earned their first senior call-ups, adding depth to Kerala’s bowling attack under coach Swapnil Asnodkar.
