New York Jets rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq exited Sunday’s 17-12 victory over the Cleveland Browns after suffering a head injury during the third quarter. The 2026 NFL Draft’s 16th overall pick left the game at MetLife Stadium with about six minutes remaining, following a fumble on a hit by Browns linebacker Quincy Williams.
Sadiq, who had contributed two catches on three targets in his first five NFL games, was placed into concussion protocol but was cleared medically, per coach Aaron Glenn’s postgame remarks. The Jets (2-3) will face the New England Patriots next Sunday at 1 p.m.
ET, with Sadiq’s status pending completion of the protocol.
