Kent State football's Sean Leonard named MAC Specialist of the Week

Kent State kicker Sean Leonard has earned the conference's Specialist of the Week honor following a strong performance. During a 26-13 victory against Ball State on September 26, Leonard converted three extra point attempts and established a new school record by converting a 53-yard field goal.

His contributions extended to kickoff duties, where he and his coverage unit limited opponents to 28 yards across three returns alongside recording a single touchback.

Looking ahead, the team's upcoming fixture against Western Michigan has been scheduled for an afternoon start time on October 10. That matchup is set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff and will be broadcast via an ESPN+ stream.
