Justin Jefferson ruled out for Vikings-Dolphins

Minnesota head coach Kevin O'Connell revealed during his Friday media session that star wide receiver Justin Jefferson will miss Sunday's matchup against Miami due to an ankle problem sustained during the previous victory over Tampa Bay. Jefferson sat out all practice sessions across the week, halting a campaign where he had secured 13 receptions totaling 179 yards alongside a pair of scores through three appearances.

Alongside the standout pass catcher, the team will be missing Charles Demmings because of a hamstring issue and punter Brett Thorson due to a right hamstring concern. To address the vacancy on special teams, Johnny Hekker is set to move up from the practice squad for weekend duties.
