Julian Lewis' situation raises concerns about Deion Sanders and Colorado

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders faces mounting scrutiny over his quarterback situation following a recent conference loss. During the match against Baylor, Sanders benched quarterback Julian Lewis at halftime in favor of Isaac Wilson.

Wilson managed ten points in the second half, completing 12 of 25 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown, while Lewis had previously gone 11 of 16 for 75 yards.

In his weekly press conference, Sanders declined to name a starting quarterback for the upcoming Big 12 home opener against Texas Tech, though he praised Wilson's energy and leadership within the squad. The team's transition to the new go-go offensive scheme has produced a noticeable dip in scoring against Power 4 opponents.
