Former world number one Juan Carlos Ferrero has reflected on his short-lived coaching stint with Alexander Zverev, pointing to cultural differences and contrasting views on professionalism as the reasons for their split between 2017 and 2018. Ferrero, who recently parted ways with Carlos Alcaraz, is preparing to take on a new player next season with an announcement scheduled for November 9.

Meanwhile, Zverev is currently competing at the Erste Bank Open as the top seed.
