Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Josiah Trotter enjoyed an explosive start to his professional career during Sunday's regular-season kickoff against the Cincinnati Bengals. The rookie defender, following in the footsteps of his father Jeremiah Trotter, made an immediate splash by registering both a quarterback sack and an interception returned for a touchdown at Paycor Stadium.

After Tampa Bay claimed an early 3-0 advantage, Cincinnati answered back to establish a 14-3 lead in the opening half, sparked by Demetrius Knight Jr. scooping up a loose ball forced by Barrett Carter and Myles Murphy for a 27-yard touchdown return.
