Jos Buttler injury and Kusal Mendis century derail England as Sri Lanka level ODI series

England dropped the second one-day international by sixteen runs after Sri Lanka successfully defended a 322-run target to tie the series. Despite a strong 143-run start for the first wicket by Ben Duckett and Tom Banton, the hosts stumbled following a hamstring injury to Jos Buttler and a stellar hundred by Kusal Mendis.

The series will now be decided at the Oval this coming Sunday.
