Veteran pass rusher Jonathan Greenard is officially active for the Philadelphia Eagles in their Week 3 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Despite being listed as questionable due to a pectoral injury sustained before training camp, Greenard is set to make his season debut following a full practice session.
He will join edge rushers Jalyx Hunt, Nolan Smith, and Arnold Ebiketie on the field, though his playing time is expected to be managed carefully in this first outing. In contrast, the Eagles will be missing several key contributors for this contest.
Tight end Dallas Goedert, wide receiver Hollywood Brown, and offensive tackle Fred Johnson have been ruled out due to injuries, while Tanner McKee, Cole Payton, and A.J. Epenesa will also not participate.
To help offset these absences, the team elevated veteran Zach Ertz from the practice squad and brought up Chance Campbell as well.
