The New Orleans Saints staged a dramatic late-third-quarter comeback against the Minnesota Vikings after a critical turnover. With the Vikings threatening to extend their lead, quarterback Kyler Murray’s pass to Myles Price was intercepted by Martin Emerson, but Jonas Sanker recovered the fumble and sprinted 87 yards for a touchdown.
Though the extra point attempt by Daniel Carlson missed wide left, the play tied the game at 13–13 and shifted momentum in New Orleans’ favor. The Saints’ offense had struggled up to that point, managing just seven first downs while quarterback Tyler Shough faced heavy pressure, completing 10 of 14 passes for 57 yards and throwing an interception.
Despite offensive challenges, the Saints’ defense remained resilient, keeping the game within striking distance late in the quarter.
