Joey Porter Jr. will play for Cowboys, who elevate two DBs off practice squad

Ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Texans, Dallas promoted Reddy Steward and Juanyeh Thomas to the active roster from the practice squad, with Thomas having joined that group earlier in the week. The secondary will also receive a significant boost as Malik Hooker and Shavon Revel are cleared to play following full participation in Friday's practice sessions without carrying any injury designations into the weekend.

Additionally, newly acquired cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is set to make his team debut this weekend after arriving in a trade from Pittsburgh.

Stephen Jones confirmed during a radio appearance that the newest defensive addition is slated to see playing time during the contest.
