Jets RB Breece Hall leaves game vs. Lions early with thigh injury after awkward tackle

New York Jets running back Breece Hall exited Sunday's matchup early in the fourth quarter after suffering a thigh injury during a play near the goal line. He was tackled awkwardly by Detroit Lions linebacker Trevor Nowaske just shy of the end zone and was quickly evaluated in the medical tent before being ruled out.

Prior to his departure, Hall recorded 32 rushing yards on 13 attempts alongside three receptions for 23 receiving yards. The veteran offensive player recently signed a three-year contract extension with the franchise following his first career thousand-yard rushing campaign.
