Jena Bishop upsets Liz Carmouche in PFL Chicago title fight

Jena Bishop delivered a stunning upset victory over Liz Carmouche in the PFL Chicago main event, claiming the vacant women’s flyweight title in a highly anticipated rematch. The fight capped off a packed Friday-night card in Chicago, where Bishop avenged her earlier loss to Carmouche to secure the championship belt.

Meanwhile, Dakota Ditcheva used the event to publicly demand her long-awaited title shot, pushing for a matchup as early as February or March. Carmouche, who had made weight after a dramatic pre-fight haircut, fell just short of defending her title bid in front of a competitive crowd.

The win for Bishop marks a pivotal moment in the PFL’s women’s division, solidifying her status as a top contender in the flyweight class.
