Jaylen Watson experienced a difficult beginning to his tenure with Los Angeles, surrendering a pair of touchdown completions during his team debut. The defensive struggles contributed to a 27-7 defeat against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night in Melbourne, Australia, dropping Los Angeles to the bottom of the NFC West.

Defensive back Quentin Lake conceded that San Francisco executed a superior strategy and outmatched his squad across the board, while quarterback Matthew Stafford struggled significantly in the contest.
