The Denver Broncos entered Sunday’s game with four key players returning from questionable statuses, all of whom had been limited in practice over the past two days. Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, safety Brandon Jones, defensive lineman Zach Allen, and left tackle Garett Bolles were cleared to play despite their respective ankle, hamstring, and hip concerns.
Cornerback Pat Surtain II also rejoined the active roster, marking his first appearance since Week 4 when he suffered an ankle injury. Meanwhile, the Broncos’ inactive list includes quarterback Sam Ehlinger, safety Talanoa Hufanga, offensive linemen Gavin Ortega and Kage Casey, tight end Dallen Bentley, and defensive linemen Jordan Jackson and Tyler Onyedim.
The Kansas City Chiefs, meanwhile, activated their third-string quarterback, Garrett Nussmeier, alongside a handful of other reserves.
