Jalon Daniels aims to be "the thermostat" in his first NFL start

Undrafted rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels is set to make his first career start for the Buccaneers against the Packers this weekend after replacing the injured Baker Mayfield. Mayfield suffered a thumb dislocation, clearing the path for Daniels to become the earliest rookie signal-caller to start a game in the 2026 season.
