The Milwaukee Brewers kicked off the National League Division Series with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over the San Diego Padres at American Family Field. Despite an uneven outing from starting pitcher Jacob Misiorowski, who threw 58 pitches through the first inning and a half while facing an early deficit, the Brewers rallied to secure the win.
Jackson Chourio jumpstarted the offense in the third frame by launching a two-run home run, marking his fifth career postseason blast. Later in the contest, William Contreras delivered the decisive blow with a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the seventh inning off reliever Adrian Morejon to break the deadlock and seal the Game 1 triumph.
