Islanders News: Rosters due, Logan Stanley signed

As the NHL season-opening rosters become due, the Islanders finalized their preseason adjustments by surprising observers with the addition of veteran defenseman Logan Stanley, who agreed to a deal after skating with his former junior squad. While Stanley steps right into the mix as a towering physical presence, several other roster hopefuls such as Isaiah George, Cole Eiserman, Kashawn Aitcheson, and Vitek Vanecek were reassigned to AHL Hamilton.

Meanwhile, the club manages a few minor injury concerns as Brayden Schenn, Matthew Schaefer, Tony DeAngelo, and Mathew Barzal navigate preseason tweaks, maintenance days, and recovery ahead of their opening matchup in Toronto.
