Ishan Kishan is nearing a return to the Indian lineup for the fourth T20I against New Zealand following a minor adductor injury sustained during the series opener. While he was sidelined for the third match in Wellington, bowling coach Morne Morkel indicated that the wicketkeeper-batter is training well and could potentially replace Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the upcoming fixture.
Morkel also noted that the squad is preparing for challenging weather conditions at the Basin Reserve, where high winds and evening dew are expected to test the bowlers' ability to grip the ball and maintain control.
