Injury To Jacob Bernard-Docker Opens Pathway For Other Young Red Wings Defenseman

As the Detroit approaching the opening of their upcoming campaign, the team must finalize their roster by Monday afternoon. Defender Jacob Bernard-Docker has unfortunately been moved to the Injured Reserve list, creating an opening for other prospects.

This development boosts the prospects of young blue-liner Anton Johansson, who delivered a strong performance during training camp and preseason exhibitions. Additionally, the organization recently added depth by securing Andreas Englund via waivers from Calgary, while Simon Edvinsson remains without a contract despite participating in camp.
