Indiana Puts It All Together In Dominant Win Over Rutgers

The sixth-ranked Indiana football squad advanced to five and zero on the year following a dominant forty-seven to fifteen rout of Rutgers. Under the direction of head coach Curt Cignetti, the visitors produced five hundred ninety-three total yards while completely avoiding any penalties during the contest.

Quarterback Josh Hoover orchestrated the attack by completing twenty of twenty-seven passing attempts for two hundred fifty-one yards and four scores without a turnover. Charlie Becker paced all receivers with eight receptions for one hundred seven yards paired with two touchdowns, and teammate Nick Marsh added seven catches good for one hundred twenty yards and a single score.

Ground production proved equally potent as Turbo Richard gained two hundred four yards alongside a touchdown on thirteen rushes, while Lee Beebe Junior contributed one hundred twenty-two yards and another score on eighteen carries. The defensive unit limited the hosts to just two hundred fifty-four total yards, secured four sacks, and held the opponent scoreless until the third quarter.
